The partner's word
The Keeper and the Dell is a secluded woodland venue located in the countryside of Norfolk, England. Established in 2013, it offers a blend of rustic charm and bohemian style within a natural setting surrounded by forest, gardens, meadows, and landscaped grounds. The venue comprises an eighteenth-century Gamekeeper's barn, a traditional canvas marquee, camping gardens, a firepit, and a wood cabin, providing both indoor and outdoor spaces for events.
This venue is distinctive for its combination of historical elements and natural beauty. The gently sloped grassed area known as The Dell is enveloped by woodland and ferns, creating a romantic backdrop for ceremonies and receptions. The marquee, handmade in Norfolk with vintage wooden poles and striped coconut matting flooring, is included in the venue cost and serves as a versatile blank canvas for decoration. Additional features include a saloon bar made from reclaimed wood, vintage furniture, and outdoor washrooms, all contributing to an eclectic and rustic atmosphere.
The Keeper and the Dell accommodates up to 100 guests seated or standing, making it suitable for a variety of celebrations such as weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, retreats, and workshops. The venue offers exclusive use over a weekend, allowing guests to fully enjoy the space and its amenities, including camping options with vintage caravans, sleeping huts, bell tents, and space for personal tents or campervans. Festoon lighting, firewood, and strawbales enhance the outdoor ambiance, especially in the evening under the stars.
