Zunfthaus zur Waag

In Zurich’s old town, on Münsterhof, Zunfthaus zur Waag welcomes dining and events in a historic guild house dating from 1636. Its second-floor restaurant overlooks the square and serves Zurich classics alongside seasonal dishes. Three historic rooms are available to hire for meetings, presentations, banquets, gala dinners and private celebrations. The Zunftsaal, a large wood-panelled hall with stained glass and guild-family coats of arms, accommodates groups of 70 to 120 and offers contemporary multimedia technology. The bright Zunftstube, with heraldic windows and an antique tiled stove, suits groups of 30 to 60. The more intimate, walnut-panelled Waagstübli is particularly suited to meetings combined with lunch or dinner. The events team supports the planning and running of receptions, while the in-house kitchen and service team provide food and hospitality, from aperitifs through to dinner.
