Café GUPI

Café Gupi occupies a former gardener's house in the Läublinpark. Chef Christoph provides a clear culinary signature with exciting, regularly changing menus offered in 3-, 4- and 5-course formats. The wine list concentrates on local varieties—Gutedel and Pinots—and rarities from other regions; many winemakers are personally known to the team and several wines are available by the glass. The house positions itself within a small-house hospitality model as a familiar, welcoming spot where guests may drop in at the bar or sit in the small restaurant for a curated tasting, and the Michelin Guide notes it as Modern and Seasonal with the distinction SELECTED. Interior spaces include intimate dining rooms, a small wine library with an adjacent lounge and a sunny terrace for summer service. The atmosphere is familiar and homely yet refined, with preserved 1920s architectural details. Cuisine is modern and seasonal, governed by products available each season and described on-site as instinctive and authentic.
