Coup de Main is a wine cellar and convivial counter-style restaurant in Vieux Lille. The concept pairs a passionate sommelier and a cook to present creative, seasonally inspired cuisine alongside a curated wine selection drawn from domaines respectful of their ecosystems and terroirs. The kitchen focuses on vegetables, meats and fish sourced by season; evenings offer an à la carte selection and a six-course tasting, the Menu Vendanges. Lunch (Wednesday to Saturday) comprises two fixed menus at accessible prices and the midday menu can be modified for dietary restrictions when informed at booking. Clément trained in Bordeaux, worked with Thierry Drapeau and at Empreinte and won the title Meilleur jeune sommelier de France in 2021; Victor trained in Paris (Plaza Athénée, Papillon), participated in the opening of Rozó and was second chef at L'Empreinte before founding the convivial comptoir with Clément. The team also runs initiation and tasting workshops, including food-and-wine pairing and fish butchery. An intimate, counter-style dining room in the old town of Lille creates a warm, wine-cellar ambiance that feels convivial and focused. Cooking is creative and seasonally driven, highlighting vegetables, meats and fish with an emphasis on terroir and wines chosen to match the food. Specialties include Menu Vendanges (6-course seasonal tasting); Menu Rafles lunch (main + garnish + dessert) €22; Menu Sarments lunch (tartinable, main + garnish, dessert) €25; beetroot vegetal charcuterie; and côte d'agneau with radishes.
