W die Weinbar is, at its core, a personal project. Svita Latkina and her partner Wladimir run this Hamburg spot together, backed by what they describe as a wonderful team — and that sense of care comes through in the cooking. The focus here is on creative, seasonally driven dishes rooted in French cuisine, with a strong lean toward locally sourced and vegetarian options. The menu shifts with the seasons, so what you eat reflects what's actually available right now. Wine is central to the whole experience — this is, after all, a wine bar — and the food is built around it. Raw milk cheese features alongside the wine selection, which gives you a sense of the direction: thoughtful, produce-led, unpretentious in spirit even when the cooking is refined.
