The partner's word
ArtistAnd was founded in 2019 by China Jordan, a Fine Art: Painting graduate of Wimbledon originally from Grimsby, who spent years managing prestigious Mayfair art galleries and overseeing artwork installations worldwide before turning her focus to making art genuinely accessible outside the gallery context. The organisation was born from a recognition that many people feel anxious or excluded when engaging with art — and that this barrier, once removed, unlocks meaningful wellbeing benefits. Through the COVID-19 lockdown period, ArtistAnd demonstrated its resilience and social value by building community through creativity, and has continued to grow steadily since.
China Jordan is a commissioned artist and experienced tutor who has studied with various grandmasters, developing mastery across pencil drawing, oil painting, watercolour, and pastel. She specialises in classical realism and portraiture, with a particular strength in Bargue drawing methodology — a disciplined approach to observational drawing rooted in the academic tradition. Her dual expertise as a practising artist and a skilled communicator shapes every workshop she leads, whether in person or online.
ArtistAnd's corporate art workshops are designed as structured, guided creative sessions that require no prior artistic experience. Past corporate clients include Chelsea FC, Monzo, Amazon, PwC, Ocado, Pearson, and Incubeta — organisations spanning finance, technology, sport, and professional services. These sessions are delivered as team wellbeing experiences, combining hands-on drawing or painting practice with the known mental health benefits of creative engagement. Workshops can be hosted at the client's premises or in an agreed location, and are available both in-person and virtually.
Beyond corporate programming, ArtistAnd offers individual art classes in multiple formats: scheduled in-person sessions, live online classes, and self-paced courses that participants can complete in their own time. The curriculum is grounded in classical technique, with a philosophy that anyone — regardless of prior experience — has the capacity to learn to draw. This inclusive, encouraging approach is central to the brand's identity and to China Jordan's personal mission.
