The historical heart of the Espace Hamelin is the town mansion of the Count of Montebello, who lived there in the 19th century.This building is the work of Charles-Louis Boileau, architect of Le Bon Marché, featuring neo-Renaissance façades facing the honor courtyard and its garden populated with Indian ducks and pheasants.This remarkable building, originally located at 11 Rue Hamelin, was later joined by the buildings at 15 and then 17 of the same street.
