In the heart of Covent Garden piazza, and set in London’s original flower market, London Transport Museum provides two unique spaces for all event types.
The Museum Galleries provide an interactive and immersive experience where guests
can exclusively explore London’s transport history across two floors of exhibitions including iconic red buses, trams and early Tube carriages. The Museum Galleries provides a memorable backdrop for dinners, award ceremonies, product launches and private celebrations. Working with some of London’s finest caterers we can accommodate up to 230 guests for a seated dinner and 600 guests standing.
The Cubic Theatre is a purpose-built auditorium featuring distinctive moquette seats, perfect for conferences, training sessions and high-quality film screenings. A high-spec short throw projector ensures slick presentations. The adjoining Foyer can be used for registration, catering and breakouts with great branding opportunities.
London's Transport design is synonymous with London itself.
London by Design celebrates the key moments in London's most well-known and best loved designs are from the 'golden age' of transport concepts. With space for up to 36 on a long table, London by Design's intimate space has flexibility for small receptions or smaller dinners, with access to the full Museum experience.

What time can I access the venue?
Clients can access the space from 5pm with access to a green room before the contracted event start time at 6.30pm at the earliest for museum events.
Are your spaces accessible?
The museum is accessible for wheelchair users with level access at the Ticket Desk, and lifts to all floors. There are ramps in some areas. Due to the historic nature of our collection, not all the vehicles are accessible. The area outside the Museum is cobbled, with a level path part of the way round.
Can I bring my own catering supplier?
Our caterers have been through a very detailed tender process to ensure we are offering the best service for our guests. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the collection we are unable to allow other external caterers but are highly confident our accredited list can meet a wide range of styles, budgets and industry leading quality.
Is staffing included in my hire?
Yes, all staffing is included in hire of any of our space. We have tried to ensure no hidden costs and therefore the venue hire price includes; staffing, standard AV, Wi-Fi, cloakroom facilities as well as free access to the museum galleries.
Is there parking onsite?
Unfortunately, due to our location in the heart of Covent Garden we do not have parking facilities. However, we are easy to find with numerous tube stations, bus stops and train stations in short distance. Find out more here

Yes, each hire includes built in AV as standard which can be enhanced with add-ons based on your requirements. More details can be shared with your proposal.
