Prelude turned to Naboo to organize a corporate retreat for 25 people, with the clear objective of cohesion. As an organization seeking to strengthen internal ties, Prelude entrusted Naboo with creating a privately held, immersive experience over several days in mid, September, where shared time away from the everyday would be the primary catalyst for renewed camaraderie and collective focus.
From the outset the brief demanded discretion and comfort: a fully privatized venue with around fifteen guest rooms, a sunny setting preferably by the sea, reliable Wi, Fi and dedicated workspaces, and a full, board catering programme covering breakfasts, lunches and dinners. The client also wanted a balance between focused working moments and relaxed social activities, including evening entertainment, and expected an accessible location that did not require Naboo to provide transport. The atmosphere requested was convivial and restorative, with smooth on, site logistics so participants could move easily between meetings, meals and leisure.
Naboo answered by orchestrating every detail to align with Prelude’s priorities. The team secured a privatized seaside setting that combined productive work areas with relaxed social zones, coordinated accommodation to match the rooming needs, and implemented reliable connectivity and on, site office infrastructure. Catering was managed end, to, end to ensure well, prepared breakfasts, lunches and dinners that supported both formal and informal moments, while a curated programme of daytime activities and evening gatherings reinforced group cohesion. Naboo translated Prelude’s brief into a cohesive retreat, demonstrating its role as a strategic and dependable partner for corporate events.

Prelude delivers a cohesion corporate retreat
Over four days, in August 2025 Prelude and Naboo partnered to deliver a Corporate Retreat focused squarely on cohesion. The planning and execution were closely aligned with the objective of strengthening team bonds: workspaces, reliable connectivity and a mix of structured activities and social moments combined to create an experience that was both productive and restorative. The event closed with a clear sense of satisfaction and renewed team spirit.
Clients highlighted several elements that made the retreat effective. On, site coordination and catering were noted, with dietary restrictions carefully managed and vendors described as professional and accommodating. Activities and evening programming were well received, and the privatized setting supported uninterrupted group time. There were a few transport, related notes that suggested room for small improvements, but these did not undermine the positive feedback on the event’s core elements.
Our stay at Château de Fontarèches went well. The manager, Emily, handled last, minute requests promptly and adjusted arrangements as needed. Dietary restrictions were respected and clearly tracked. Overall, the service met our expectations.
Naboo’s role in execution drew praise for responsiveness and attention to detail. The team collaborated closely with the venue manager and external suppliers, ensuring last, minute requests were handled and logistical needs were anticipated. Communication throughout the stay was steady and practical, and the combined effort of Naboo and partners delivered an organized, service, oriented experience that generally met client expectations.
Mandy Cakes was kind and accommodating.
The retreat unfolded with a clear rhythm: focused sessions and collaborative work in the mornings, active and team, building activities in the afternoons, and convivial evenings that reinforced interpersonal connections. This balance of work and leisure helped participants return to discussions with fresh perspectives while also deepening informal relationships, achieving the cohesion the event set out to support.
Participant feedback translated into top marks: a global rating of 5/5 and a Naboo recommendation score of 10/10. The client praised the team’s performance and indicated they are already planning a larger follow, up as their headcount grows, seeking a seaside venue with significantly more rooms and similar on, site services and activities. Those responses confirm a successful retreat and a strong foundation for future collaboration.
