La Caverna

La Caverna is a restaurant and event venue situated on Rivington Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The space draws its character from a cave-inspired aesthetic, featuring stone walls, a curved bar with wooden stools, glowing red bar lighting, and a distinctive mural. Since 2002, the culinary team has been serving traditional Mexican cuisine prepared with locally sourced, fresh ingredients. The venue holds an alcohol licence until 4:00 am, making it well suited for late-night gatherings and private celebrations. The Entire Venue is available as a full buyout space accommodating up to 200 guests standing or in a cabaret configuration, and up to 110 guests for seated dining. It is suited for private parties, corporate events, promoted and ticketed events, and social gatherings. The Bar Area is a shared space centered around a large round bar, accommodating up to 250 guests for standing or cabaret-style events and up to 100 guests for seated dining. It is well suited for birthday parties, corporate events, and promoted or ticketed events. Weekday events typically carry no venue hire fee when guests use a cash bar, while Fridays and Saturdays have a minimum spend requirement. Both spaces offer in-house catering featuring Mexican cuisine, with the option to bring external caterers subject to a buyout fee. Standard and premium per-person packages are available, each including a buffet station and open bar.
