La Musette

La Musette is a floating bar located in the heart of Rennes, on a historic 1903 barge moored by the river in the city centre. After four years of restoration, this 80-ton Breton vessel, previously anchored on the Blavet in Hennebont, reopened in May 2023 as a vibrant social and festive destination. The founders' commitment to reviving this old working boat is reflected in the guinguette spirit of the venue and its warm atmosphere. The bar's drink selection highlights Breton craft beers, including an exclusive collaboration with Brasserie Nautica, as well as organic natural wines and marine-style cocktails featuring homemade infused rums. Although there is no kitchen on board, homemade tapas are offered in partnership with the Ana Ana restaurant from Plouasne, focusing on organic, seasonal, and local ingredients. These shareable dishes are designed to be enjoyed casually during aperitif time. The friendly atmosphere at La Musette is characterised by a warm interior and two riverfront terraces, creating a relaxed vibe enhanced by music, perfect for celebrations and social gatherings. The venue also offers packages for groups, partial area reservations, and complete boat privatisation for events such as business meetings, birthdays, and wedding receptions.
