Las Carcavas

Las Cárcavas is a 60-hectare oceanfront estate located within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Laguna Garzón in Uruguay's Departamento de Rocha. The property offers a unique blend of modern architecture and untouched natural surroundings, including pine forests, natural lagoons, and sculpted gullies known locally as cárcavas. The estate's contemporary design was crafted by architect Isay Weinfeld, featuring structures such as a Beach House, an ocean-view restaurant, and a Grill House nestled in the pine forest.
