Palacete Gomes Freire

The partner's word

Palacete Gomes Freire is a 19th-century palace-style venue located in the heart of Lisbon. Built in 1878 on land acquired from the Portuguese Crown, the building features the engraved initials of its original owner, Francisco Maria Ceraque, on the main entrance door. After passing to the family of the current owners at the end of the 19th century, the house served as the Municipal Court on its first floor until the late 1960s. Following restoration completed in 2016, Palacete Gomes Freire reopened as an event venue. The venue offers a distinctive setting for corporate events such as open days, product launches, meetings, training sessions, and Christmas dinners, as well as private celebrations including birthdays, weddings, and baptisms. It also accommodates creative uses like advertising shoots, cinema, photo sessions, and exhibitions. The first floor features a sequence of named rooms inspired by Lisbon landmarks, providing a historic and characterful backdrop. The atmosphere is noble and historic, enhanced by natural light, elegant details, chandeliers, corridors, halls, and staircases within the restored mansion. Several rooms are cozy, spacious, and distinguished, equipped with programmable Philips HUE lighting. Palacete Gomes Freire specializes in hosting events within its restored noble interiors and naturally lit rooms.
