Restaurant Hafenblick

The Hafenblick Restaurant is a family-run establishment in Niendorf on the Baltic Sea, which opened in 1998. Its name reflects the unique concept of offering guests direct views of the Niendorf Harbour, one of the smallest ports along the Baltic coast, known for its local fishing fleet and regional fish such as cod, herring, and sole. The restaurant was renovated in spring 2017 to expand the space and allow for more flexibility in both casual dining and celebrations. The setting is closely linked to the character of the harbour, surrounded by fishermen's cottages, a shipyard, a sailing club, and near a sandy beach, creating an authentic North German coastal atmosphere. The cuisine specializes in fish and meat dishes, highlighting regional seafood from the local harbour. Homemade desserts complete the menu, with a selection of cakes available upon request. The team places great emphasis on a personal, family-oriented approach to hospitality and invites guests to experience the flavours and culture of Niendorf Harbour, enriched by seasonal events such as Jazz Baltica and the Fishermen's Church Fair.
