Kilowatt is a bar and live music venue located on 16th Street in San Francisco's Mission Dolores neighborhood. The venue is defined by an authentic vintage character, featuring a red and black color scheme, vintage red pendant lighting, screen-printed lowbrow artwork by COOP and KOZIK, walls lined with vintage sound equipment and electronics, music memorabilia, two dance floors, a jukebox, a pool table, dart boards, and a stage for live performances. The Bar + Music Venue occupies the first floor and accommodates up to 250 guests standing or 30 seated in theater or cabaret configuration. It is equipped with a flexible sound system supporting DJ setups, vinyl, and full live bands, alongside a retractable projector screen, dynamic lighting, and entertainment offerings including darts and a pool table. This space is suited for live music events, DJ nights, private parties, and promoted or ticketed events. The MCM Private Lounge is a private second-floor space decorated with antique furniture from the 1950s and 1960s. It features a custom-built full bar, a 1960s HiFi ceiling-mounted sound system with Bluetooth and vinyl playback, and an authentic 1962 Seeburg jukebox. The lounge accommodates up to 50 guests standing or in theater-style seating, and up to 30 for dining. It is well suited for private parties, cocktail receptions, and intimate ticketed events. The Bar/Venue & Private Lounge option combines the first-floor bar and the upstairs lounge, accommodating up to 300 guests standing. This configuration is suited for large-scale private events and full venue buyouts. Outside catering is welcome across all spaces, and guests may also arrange a food truck out front. Decorations are encouraged.
